people are indeed futuristic, make such a mountain out of singapore's 41st bday. i got squashed yesterday night at cityhall. thats when i realise tall is good. because i can only see the backs of people in front of me. poor kids being pulled around by their parents. they only see butts. haaa, oh yah, was at cityhall at 830+ to catch the supposedly 15 minutes fireworks display.
was with bernice, renying, cixin, arkar, huizhen and the other 4/7 girls that i dont know, which was kind of weird. but had fun, running around, trying to find somewhere that we can see the fireworks.
we are blessed. arkar the smart knows that peninsular plaza has a openroof carpark. so instead of running n squeezing w the others at esplanade, we were on top and looking at the fireworks (though blocked by some stupid builiding n a tree) but generally can see, was nice. it turned the sky blue after that, somehow. was very lame, pointed to the moon n sang "ever lasting, yr light will shine will all else fades" after the fireworks.
went to makan at funan's foodcourt and went home after that.
today, i got squashed again at bishan's macs. so decided to go to novena. dropped my wallet, but yihui found it, phew! went to polar, starbucks then longjohnsilver. (:
went home for the traditional ndp.
although the format is abt the same every yr. i still kind of like it. if i ever get a chance, i dont mind going or ever participating. hoho, patriotism.
